The Rehabilitation portion of the Safehaven Campaign focuses on addicted pregnant women.
THE LONG-TERM GOAL of the Rehabilitation portion of the Safehaven Campaign strategy is to provide a temporary live-in facility where the addicted mother can receive faith-based, Christ-centered recovery under the supervision of our medical advisory board and pastoral counselors for the duration of her pregnancy and the postpartum period.  Becoming free from the bondage of drug addiction requires more than willpower, it requires community – a “safe haven” – to steal away from the environment that makes it difficult to break the cycle of addiction.
Faith-based rehabilitation centers have long-standing, proven track records of being successful. The Safehaven Campaign strives to strike a unique balance of medical, spiritual, and emotional support for the pregnant mother battling addiction.
The timeline on our live-in facility is dependent on finances, but we consider it a crucial, urgent need. We are actively raising funds to complete our live-in facility.  If you would like to contribute, all donations are tax-deductible and can be made online here.  If you have any questions about giving towards this project, you may contact us here
THE SHORT-TERM GOAL of the Rehabilitation portion of the Safehaven Campaign strategy is to build a trusted relationship with addicted, pregnant women and help provide them with the community and resources needed to make the best decisions.  Our goal is total, long-term recovery of the mother and the safest possible pregnancy for her unborn child.
Safehaven offers free periodic banquets in honor of our beautiful moms in need. At each banquet, we strive to provide a loving, judgment-free environment where she can receive a catered dinner, pampering, educational information on her options by licensed medical professionals, prayer, counseling, and a “Mentor in Mothering”. She also receives free baby items and can be enrolled in free parenting, prenatal and/or birthing classes. Childcare is also provided during the Safehaven banquets, free of charge.
Our “Mentor in Mothering” program provides one-on-one, loving accountability and support for each pregnant woman after the banquet. We believe mothering requires support and community (Titus 2:4) and we are willing and excited to offer both.
If you know a pregnant, addicted mother who needs help, or if you are pregnant and addicted and would like someone to pray with you or help you, click here. You can also register for free for the next Safehaven banquet by texting the word SAFEHAVEN to 304-860-7956.
